A Rundown on the New Chevy Spark

The 2021 Chevrolet Spark is available in 4 trims and ten exterior colors. You can choose between LS, 1LT, ACTIV, and 2LT trim levels. A Spark Special Edition offers stylish features like a dual-toned roof, a black-painted grille, front, and rear black bowtie emblems, and an accent color grille surround.

Engine and Mileage

All the trims are equipped with a 1.4L ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. A five-speed manual transmission is available. Spark offers front-wheel drive as standard. The EPA estimates the Spark to give a mileage of 30 mpg on city roads and 38 mpg on the highway.

Interior and Cargo

The Spark is designed to comfortably seat 4 passengers. The interior features color-coordinated accent stripes and handy storage hooks. Front-seat occupants get a headroom of 39 inches and a legroom of 41.7 inches.

Spark offers a cargo space of 11 cubic feet (0.31 m³) which increases to 27 cubic feet (0.76 m³) when the rear seats are folded. Cubicles in the center console and a shelf above the glovebox are some other storage spaces in the cabin. There are cup holders and a plastic tray in between the rear seats. Features like power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry, a remote panic alarm, roof rails, and unique 15-inch alloy wheels are available in higher trims. The ACTIV trim also has black leather driver and passenger seats.

Infotainment

The Spark has a standard 7-inch touchscreen equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also a couple of USB ports and a 12-volt outlet.

Safety Features

The Spark is fitted with 10 standard airbags and a high-strength steel safety cage. A rearview camera is a standard safety feature across trims. Advanced safety features like forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and the automatic emergency braking are also available. The 143.1 inch (3.63 m) long hatchback is easy to maneuver on busy roads.
